[hypermail] Question [or Bug?]

Using hypermail: Version: 2.1.7 Patchlevel: 0 on AIX 5.1

Executing hypermail on an unchanged mailbox will result in the doubling the size of the HTML archive, i.e., it
does not overwrite the existing files ( used the '-x' option, too).

Strangely, if run with the '-p' option (and without '-x') it'll tell you about "Message-ID collision"s, and leaves the previously generated html files intact.

Any help would be appreciated:
