I know that's the only reason to have the switch set like that. I am currently subscribed to more than 20 active mailing lists of which most are open to posts from anywhere, and I *never* receive any spam mails from them. I do receive quite a lot of spam from other sources though.

I won't nag about this, I just happen to work my full share of 8-10 hours a day at a place from where I cannot change my From:-address and therefore I can't reply to mails and take part in dicsussions here as freely as I'd like.
