I probably wasn't sufficiently clear. This comment was directed toward the fromparse.c utility you shipped around. As I guessed, and as you confirmed in another private e-mail to me, the utility doesn't attempt to parse the header of each message in its entirety -- it is simply scanning for any line beginning with "From:". Thus the discrepencies...
