No,

I run majordomo. There are monthly archives. I keep these for a year. I now wish to combine an entire year's worth of monthly archives into one single .html annual archives using hypermail. I can do this by simply running cat *.99* > newarch.1999 and then running hypermail on the resulting archives.

I thought however, that the -x option would allow me to "append" monthly archives without over-writing what was already in the archives. This would allow me to incrementally maintain the annual archives. This does not seem to be the case as my experiments all result in only the last archives file processed being found in the html site. So my next question is, just what does using the -x option accomplish?

Regards,
Jim
