I poked around in print.c and I see what y'all are doing. Which raises the question, "Why are you doing that?"
What is the rational for providing the express link to the bottom and top of the page only if reverse sort is not on? I understand that it is practically required for a long not reversed page, but you also provide it on author and subject pages if the flag is not set. So why deny it to those same pages if the flag is set. It would seem more appropriate to make it available on all index pages, preferably with its own parameter, so those who don't want it can suppress it. Received on Fri 05 Jan 2001 05:44:56 PM GMT
