That was not the problem, but there was a problem exactly for the reason I told:

The subject line in the message above should be:
'Re: Tämä on ääkköstesti kommentti'
But because of that problem (, which appears during the process, when the user 'rantamak_at_cc.jyu.fi' is commenting the message) it changes into the one as shown above.

That message is included here above (again) as it was in my previous message.
My opinion is as well that something is wrong with the e-mail program, but as told earlier, I'm not sure. His program is 'Eudora' and we have already checked it many times that the character settings there should be iso8859-1.
But:
Is it possible that the mail-server machine, which is in between the
machine with that 'eudora' and the hypermail server, changes the
character encoding settings?
