I maintain several lists at work, and the greatest help would be to arrange the .hmrc file so that it has the options that will almost certainly change for every list right at the top. E.g., archive name string and archive directory. Immediately afterward, put the list archive owner's email and anything else which might be site-specific, followed by the remaining parameters which are likely to remain constant over all the lists maintained on a site.
