[hypermail] splitting index pages

Hi all,

I've recently implemented hypermail for a handful of high volume lists. The problem is that the index page by the end of the month grows to more than half a meg. Is there a way to split it into multiple files, or otherwise index it in such a way to be in more managable chunks?
