[hypermail] make error

hi,

when i executed 'make' to install hypermail, i encountered this error:

ld: fatal: library -lgdbm: not found
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to hypermail collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [hypermail] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/mount/autofs/home_stude/c/carolyc/hypermail-2.1.4/src' make: *** [hypermail] Error 2

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
