substitution cookie %g is only giving the date

Hi Folks,

I have a line in my footer file

Archive generated by %u, at %g.

I use the same footer file for mails and the index: ihtmlfooterfile = "[path to hypermail stuff]/footer.html" mhtmlfooterfile = "[path to hypermail stuff]/footer.html"

This produces different output for the mail and index pages:

Mail page footer:
Archive generated by hypermail 2.1.8, at Fri 14 Apr 2006 - 06:09:41 EST. Index page footer:
Archive generated by hypermail 2.1.8, at 14 Apr 2006 EST.

with the date, but no time.

Does anyone have any idea what is going wrong?
