Threading woes

Hi folks,

I've just started using hypermail and first of all, I must say, this program kicks butt.

I'm using version 2.0b2 and have noticed a problem with the threading, so have a few questions. This might be a known issue but I didn't see anything in the archives.

The first example where I saw a problem is also in the hypermail archives: go to the "Bug in 2.0b2" thread in the August 1998 group.

Message 0007.html (from Craig A Summerhill) correctly identifies 0009.html (from Daniel Stenberg) as the 'Next in thread', and also as a 'Reply'. But 0009.html incorrectly identifies an unrelated message (0006.html) as its 'In Reply To'. Some more examples of this are at my site:

	http://reality.sgi.com/performer/perf-98-08/0031.html
	http://reality.sgi.com/performer/perf-98-08/0028.html

One more item I've noticed is a few places where the threading doesn't connect related articles. An example of this is:

        http://reality.sgi.com/performer/perf-98-08/0009.html

which should have been referenced in the thread started by:

        http://reality.sgi.com/performer/perf-98-08/0006.html

0009 did have the correct References: line and an In-Reply-To: header, so I'm stumped.

Hacking away,
Allan
