RE: Y2K

Here is a first go at a patch. It works correctly as far as I tested 2.0b3 to get the error in the indexes.

1. The length definition of SHORTDATELEN in hypermail.h must be changed from 9 to 11.
2. Then plug in the date.c (attached). Too many changes to list separately.

Note that the "else if (date[3]..." branch in convtoshortdate was also broken for this century, if it was being passed the date string shown in the adjacent comment.
