Re: Found the index clobbering daemon!

Well, after more struggle and testing, it appears that I have *not* yet figured out why versions 2b5-2b12 clobber indexes.

I've been testing each new code release, and when one doesn't behave, I've been reverting my test archive back to the 2b4 version I had (one which Kent was working on, but hadn't officially released).

My version swapping got out of synch, and I mistakenly believed something I did with the .hmrc file (taking the spaces out of the assignments) changed 2b12 behavior.

Daniel Stenberg and I are working together to try and figure it out, and we may have something shortly, but I did want to notify others who might (still) be seeing this problem, that you're not alone.
