Hi Edward,
Hypermail is expecting a BSD-style "install" script. The install script that comes with Solaris in /usr/sbin/ does NOT work. You need the install script in /usr/ucb/ under Solaris 2.6.
Change the Makefile to use "/usr/ucb/install", or change your PATH before running "make install" so that "/usr/ucb" appears before "/usr/sbin" in your PATH environment variable.
