I agree that the worst scenario would be if landfield.com stopped working as a mailinglist (even if I already dislike its configuration, which rejects posts from non-subscribed addresses).

What I think is more painful is that landfield.com is always referred to as the main hypermail web site and it says that the latest available version is 2.0b3. I've lost count on the number of times I've received bug reports in private mails which later turned out to be because they used b3 as the web pages suggest and then the bugs disappeared when they upgraded to a later version... Because of this annoying situation, I'll change the default hypermail URL to point to my web page until the situation improves. At least my info is more updated at present.
