It seems to me that disallowing attachments entirely is more the job of
the list manager (the software, not the human). I wish Majordomo would do
this (though I understand that V2 will handle MIME well, I'm just not sure
I'll live long enough to ever see it.) The point of an archive is to echo
what was on the list. If attachments were on the list, then they ought to
be archived too.
