installation Q - options.h

Hi,

I noticed some problems with Hypermail 2.03b - duplicate message ids, which seems to be old news and that has been fixed in the development versions. So I got the latest, 2a22 version, but couldn't find a way to configure things before compiling HM like I did before in options.h. ChangeLog shows that options.h is no longer needed, but I can't find any information about what replaces it - where do I configure things before compiling and installing HM?
Or is everything done via flags at the run time and all I really have to do now is run configure, make, and make install?
