I am using hypermail 2b29 and I am trying to use a configuration file.
My command line (run from a /etc/aliases file) which defines an archive named hyp-fttest, looks something like this:
hyp-fttest: "|/usr/products/IRIX/hypermail/v2_b29/bin/hypermail -i -u
-d \"/usr/products/cluster_disk/hypermail/archives/fermitools/fttest\"
-l \"FTT-test Archive\" -a \"../ftarchives.html\" -b \"README.html\"
-c \"test.config\""
Hypermail is not using my configuration file. I don't not see any error messages, but I cannot get any behavior to change. I would like to use my own header and footer files and avoid processes the text into html format.
The variables that I set are as follows:
mhtmlheaderfile = /room2/donnar/hypermailtest/hypermail-msg.hyp
mhtmlfooterfile = /room2/donnar/hypermailtest/hypermail-footer.hyp
text_types = text, text/plain, text/html
ignore_types = text/plain
showhtml = 0
showbr = 0
I assume the other variables will use the default values. Can you see anything that I am doing wrong? Should the configuration file be in any specific directory? From my command line, I put it in the subdirectory specified by my -d option. I also put it in my home directory. Nothing has worked so far. My header and footer files are not written to the archive. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am new at using a configuration file.
Thanks in advance,
