I am confused about what you are asking. You want to archive a Usenet newsgroup into an archive similar to the mail archive "Hypermail Development List" ? If this is the case take a look at 'rkive' located at ftp.landfield.com:/rkive. It is a Usenet news archiver. rkive is used to do what you seem to want it to do. Take a look at using the external command feature. Hypermail would be setup as the external command for rkive to use to process the inbound news messages either as they arrive or if desired, from a batch file. Very easy and very powerful...
