Couldn't that be because the "SCO people" haven't given enough feedback to the Apache project? Finding libs, if they are required, usually aren't such a tricky thing to add to a configure script.

So, are you saying that a program can't make the decisions? Do you _have to_ do it manually?

Ok, so until we can get the "SCO peoples'" attention and help, we're doomed to have hypermail fail to compile on SCO.

So aren't you capable of leading us through this maze of SCO mysteries? In my opinion, it would be nice to have hypermail compile and build under SCO too...
