Hi there,
after some searching I found hypermail which really looks like the
solution to my needs ;)
While compiling the whole, I experienced a problem I cannot get rif
off myself and hope the list is going to give me some advice.
I am not really new to Linux compiling but I am no C specialist
either.
So here we go:
I have triggered ./configured which succeded without any warning, customized the Makefile and options.h but when finally doing a "make" I get the following error message:
bkrueger_at_server:~/hypermail-20b3 > make cd src; make all CC="gcc" CFLAGS="-g -O2" \
cgidir="/usr/local/httpd/cgi-bin"bindir="/usr/local/bin"
mem.c:39: parse error before `__extension__' mem.c:39: parse error before `__uint8_t' mem.c:39: warning: data definition has no type or storage class mem.c:39: parse error before `}' mem.c:39: initializer element is not constant mem.c:39: parse error before `c' mem.c:39: parse error before `__uint8_t' mem.c:39: warning: data definition has no type or storage class mem.c:39: parse error before `}' mem.c:39: parse error before character constant mem.c:39: warning: data definition has no type or storage class mem.c:39: warning: data definition has no type or storage class mem.c:39: parse error before `}'
I am using Linux kernel 2.2.10 with SuSE Linux 6.2 Distribution using glibc 2.1 libraries.
I strongly hope anyone can give me some hints. If you need further information or details, feel free to contact me by pm.
Thank you very much in advance.
